There’s also Square’s team management app that you can add on for free to track time for invoicing. Square Invoices is an affordable alternative to QuickBooks that gives you precisely what you need for payment processing. We chose the top five QuickBooks alternatives for small businesses based on a variety of factors, including the ability to customize, whether it offers a mobile app and time-tracking abilities. There are other options that are less expensive, easy to use and provide just the features you need for invoicing and bookkeeping. QuickBooks Online does charge a monthly fee for the full plans, ranging from $25 to $180 (and you need a QuickBooks Online account in order to use QuickBooks Payments for processing payments). There’s also a $3 fee for any ACH bank transfer.
